Emma Watson Before Harry Potter

Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson was born on April 15, 1990, in Paris. Her parents are Jaqueline Luesby and Chris Watson, who are both lawyers. When Watson was 5, her parents got divorced. Therefore, she moved back to Oxfordshire (England) with her mother and brother (Alex Watson). At six years old, Watson knew she wanted to act and perform, so she took coaching classes at the Stagecoach Theatre Arts, while also attending Dragon School, in Oxfordshire. At Stagecoach, she practiced acting, singing, dancing and performed in multiple theatre shows. Emma Watson was soon suggested to agents (by her teachers) that were casting people for the first movie of the best-selling Harry Potter novels.

Started. She had to audition eight times until Watson was announced with the role of Hermione Granger. The two other leading roles of Harry Potter and Ron Weasley were given to Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint. The following year, the first film was released and Emma Watson quickly made her way to stardom.

When she wasn't at school, she would have had a private tutor on set. Having to switch back and forth between places, the young actress was sent homework as well as grades by couriel or email.

Those eight auditions for her role did pay off, as Emma Watson quickly rose to fame with her acting skills and achievements.
