Someone on Twitter recently pointed out a small detail in the Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone movie that shows just how dedicated 10-year-old Emma Watson was.

Fanknows who Emma Watson is – she’s the actress that played the smart and witty Hermione Granger in the books’ film adaptations. The first movie in the series was filmed all the way back in 2001 and while the actress was just 10 years old at the time, she already took the role very seriously. During one scene where the students are taking notes using their quills, Emma wasn’t pretending to write – she was actually using it.
