Ron Weasley memorably became more than pals with Hermione Grainger in the final wizarding movie, much to the horror of the real life pair, who had known each other since they were children.

“I never look back at that scene, ” he told People magazine. “I’ve known Emma since she was literally 9-years-old and we had this very brother-sister relationship. It just felt very surreal.”

Grint clearly remembers the moment as something more like a nightmare than every teenage boy’s fantasy: “I have a memory of her face getting closer and closer like ‘Oh my god’. I can’t really remember anything apart from that.”

“I just had to remind myself, ‘I am an actress. I am Hermione. This is a role.’ But it was really hard. We just have so much history together. They are like my brothers, ” she said back in 2011.

Daniel Radcliffe, who played the lead as Harry, wasn’t quite so awkward. “Rupert was the weirdest, Dan wasn’t so bad, ” Watson added. “Dan and I could sort of have a laugh about it whereas Rupert’s a bit more quiet so I didn’t really know what he was thinking which made me a bit more nervous.”

Bonnie Wright, who starred alongside Grint as his on-screen sister Ginny, posted a photo of them together on Instagram, while Matthew Lewis [Neville Longbottom], Evanna Lynch [Luna Lovegood] and Katie Leung [Cho Chang] joined a panel to reminisce on their Hogwarts days.
