Emma Watson has opened up during the Harry Potter cast reunion about how she seriously considered quitting her role as Hermione Granger.
Her co-star Rupert Grint was surprised by Emma's candid recollection, admitting that he'd never really spoken to her about that period in her life.
I think I was scared, she explained in Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts. I don't know if you ever felt like it got to a tipping point when you were like... 'This is kind of forever now'.

Felton and Watson, who played Draco Malfoy and Hermione Granger, discussed the platonic love they have for each other after meeting on set.
During the reunion special, Watson reminisced on the moment she developed feelings for her Harry Potter costar. It happened during a tutoring session on the set of the early movies when the child actors were asked to draw what they thought God looked like.
Tom had drawn a girl with a backward cap on a skateboard. And, I just don't know how to say it, I just fell in love with him, Watson said.

During the special, the cast reflected on filming and revealed secrets such as Daniel Radcliffe writing a love letter to co-star Helena Bonham Carter because he had a crush on her.

In an interview with Vogue, Watson reflected on an emotional moment of the reunion special where Grint said that Watson will always be family to him after growing up together filming Harry Potter.
They then hugged and Grint told Watson, I love you before adding, as friends, causing both to laugh. The pair famously played love interests Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger in the movies.
When asked about this moment, Watson told Vogue: That was the most emotional moment for me. When Rupert says things, he really means them. I was taken aback by how vulnerable and kind he was deciding to be so publicly. Similarly for Dan, it really touched me how reflective he had been over the years about how different it had been for me as a girl.
