We've had the TV re-runs, visits to Harry Potter Warner Bros Studio, the books and all the actors' subsequent career endeavours to fill the void, of course, but what truly makes up for the lack of magic in our lives is when the cast members reunite.

For example, though in the films Draco Malfoy and Hermione Grainger are arch nemeses, IRL Tom Felton and Emma Watson are great friends with the most recent reunion involving a guitar and some pyjamas.

He was joined by Harry himself (Daniel Radcliffe), Ron (new dad Rupert Grint), Ginny Weasley (Bonnie Wright), Luna Lovegood (Evanna Lynch), Lucius Malfoy (Jason Isaacs), the Weasley twins (also known as James and Oliver Phelps) and more, including one half of his onscreen sidekick, Goyle (Joshua Herdman).

The friends discussed some of their favourite memories from the franchise, where Grint confessed to often having to shoot multiple takes because he would get the giggles including at inappropriate times like Dumbledore's funeral...

'[That] was a particularly bad one. For some reason I found that absolutely hilarious and once you start laughing it's very hard to stop because it just becomes a thing, ' he said. 'I had a particularly bad reputation. They used to call me Go Again Grint because I couldn't do anything without doing it 20 times.'

The father-of-one said he used to laugh a lot with Radcliffe in particular, revealing that the scene on the Hogwarts Express in the first film ended up shooting with the two youngsters separately to stop them laughing.

'If you watch that, we're never in the same carriage because we couldn't look at each other in the eye. So, yeah, it's a problem, ' the star acknowledged.

And I think that is something that will never, never leave us.”
